Pumpkin Pie - yum

Thanksgiving is nearly here. I'm the pie maker at my house so here's this years pumkin pies.

SLC Temple at sunrise

I've been requested to get a good picture of the SL temple. Well there are so many pictures of that building I'm not sure what I can do that would be good. Took this one this morning just before the sun was up over the mountians.

Union Station HDR

I went down to the Union Station in Salt Lake at lunch and took a series of photos which I HDRed and stitched together this is 18 photos.

Nick meets Charlie

Nick meets a little guy that arrived while he was gone. His nephew Charlie. They spent a lot of time getting to know each other - pretty cute.

Nick's home

Well after two years in Russia, Nick arrived home safe and sound. I would definitely call these snap shots not real photos, bad lighting, lots of airport traffic and not very much room. I decided to use one of my older lenses a 28 to 70 mm. It was one I had for shooting with my film camera and it seemed a little sluggish, but it got the job done.

Industrial builidng

There's an interesting industrial building on 24th St in Ogden. This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago at sunset.

A bit of a challenge

My daughter in law called and needed a head shot. Well... it's been a while since I did any serious portrait work. All I had to work with (because I wasn't shooting in a studio) was the lighting and background in my family room. I hope she likes it. If she doesn't I guess we can try again. I have some great ideas about how to make this better.

Just putting it out there

I love photography, bike riding and fishing. Sometimes I like work (not usually). I want to show what I'm upto and see how this can be shared.
