Boondocks Restaurant

We found a new little restaurant this trip to the cabin.  This old truck was parked out front.  I couldn't resist, so here it is.  5 shot HDR.  The restaurant was an interesting experience, the was really good however.  It's in the background.

Mesa Falls on Henry's Fork

We just got back from the cabin where I shot something like 600+ photos.  I'll share a couple of my favorites here.  I've been processing for hours now and I think this is my favorite so far.  This is Mesa Falls (I've posted it before).  It's an HDR panorama (my first HDR pan of the falls) 15 total exposures. 3 frames x 5 exposures.  18 mm, f22 ISO 100 slow enough shutter speeds so that the water starts to turn silky.

Playing With Water

Just in case you haven't been wet enough - people take a chance to play in the water when it's not raining.  I'm pretty sure I saw webbed feet on some of these kids.  This is a five shot HDR

Seattle - Space Needle Reflections

I suppose it wouldn't be right to visit Seattle with out hanging out at the Space Needle.  There's an interesting structure there which does some very interesting things with light.  Here's a single shot HDRed in Photoshop.  Oh, the sun does shine from time to time in Seattle.

Seattle Wharf

I was in Seattle last week on business and took my camera and my new gorilla pod.  Here's a five shot HDR.  I think I like being able to take a little tripod.  It won't work for everything, but it's a lot better than nothing.

Park City in the Summer

Spent the week end in Park City with some family and friends.  Every one wanted to go shopping - not me, so I hiked up the ski hill and found some nice wild flowers.  Here's a sample.  This were taken mounted on a tripod with my 50mm macro lens at f9.5.  The edge of the leave shows the depth of field pretty clearly - probably should have gone to f22 or so, but this is still a pretty good shot.
