Coffee Pot Rapids

I didn't get a chance to take many pictures in Boise over Thanksgiving so here's one I took July of 2009.  This is Henry's Fork in Island Park.  This rapids is fairly long this is just a little stretch of it.  To get the water silky I shot it at .3 seconds f16 55 mm ISO 100.

Morgan Valley

Here's another picture taken along my East Canyon bike ride.  I think it's a real nice fall shot and has the rustic rural feel I like.  This is a 5 shot HDR.  I'm looking forward to traveling a bit for Thanksgiving and having some new material to post.  Stay tuned.

Biking Hero

I thought I would do something a little different.  Here's a photo I grabbed of one of my local cycling heroes, Dave Zabriskie, at the beginning of the Saturday Stage of the Tour of Utah in 2009.  This picture has not been edited in any way.  This is as shot.  So this is different because I don't think I've ever posted something unprocessed nor of a sporting event.  I don't know how may 100s of pictures I took of the tour, but pretty much nobodies seen them so here's one.

Fall Color - Aspens

Here's another 15 shot HDR panorama I took on the other side of the road from the previous aspens pan.  It's kind of amazing how different things are from one side of the road to the other.

East Canyon Fall Pictures

Here's another picture of one of the buildings I pass all the time on my bike rides up East Canyon.  I've always wanted to take a picture of this old church and if I wait much longer it won't be there.  I made a point of capturing it on this trip up the canyon.  10 shot HDR panorama.

Granddaughters Are for FUN

My wife went to visit my daughter and granddaughter last weekend and came back with a couple of photos she took with her phone.  She wanted to use them for the back ground on her computer.  Well it didn't look so good so I went to work on it in Photoshop.  I think it looks a lot better.  Take a look.
