I had a chance last week to spend an evening with "public" architects from around the country in the National Botanical Garden. "Public" architects work for public entities including federal, state or local governments. Anyway, I have to admire the vision of our founding fathers. Not just for the founding of this country, but the capitol and all the awesome things that make up the city and all. The National Botanical Garden is the brain child of George Washington. I might mention that I had the opportunity to sit in a couple of session with the Architect of the Capitol and I met him at this function. That we pretty cool in my book.
